I may be a little hiatus this week. I'll try to post and get by to your blogs off an on this week in the evening. I'm training my replacement at work. For some reason, I don't think I should start out training with blogging 101. I think I should start out with the more simple things first and then move on to the priorities. LOL! Anyway, we had a wonderful weekend. I got up early on Saturdan and the dog JR and I went for a walk. This squirrel was up in the tree by my drive way and I couldn't resist taking a couple of pics to share with you all. I thought he was so cute. After our walk, I got cleaned up and went to breakfast about 8 am with an older gentleman Max and I use to work with. After that I came home and cleaned house while Max worked some more O.T. Then mom and I went to the Farmers Market downtown Dallas. I got a lot of fresh fruit and veggies. I came home and made some wonderful homemade salsa. Let me know if you want the recipe. I got it off NBC5i. It is the recipe from Blue Goose Mexican restaurant. It is so yummy!
Once, Max got home we went to the lake. Got there and went out for a spin in the boat till after dark. Then we all cooked out. It was so
yummy! I took some of my salsa too and it was a hit. We stayed at the lake all day on
Sunday. We got alot of R&R. Anyway, hope everyone had a great weekend. I can't wait to hear all about it. I'll be around on the blogs when I can. Please tell me all about your weekend. Have a great day!
EDIT: My trainee just quit at 9:30 am. No crap. She only made it through our weekly meeting and me showing her around. She decided this wasn't the job for her. To many office dutities and not enough accounting and it was to small of a company. We had bets that she wouldn't last. She seemed pretty unstable.
Thanks for dropping by. It isn't too late yet.
Ack, I'm jealous, I so totally would have liked to have gotten our boat out....
I would like that salsa recipe, if you wouldn't mind sharing it! I love homemade salsa, esp if it's good! :)
I'm gellus of peeps with boats. I love boats!
Fridays Child - I didn't know the Phillipines didn't have squirrels.
MM- Thanks, but it is Phats B-day, not mine.
EE - Here is the recipe:
Take 10 tomatos and 3 jalopenos and either grill them for about 15 min or put them in a broiler and broil them for about 7-8 minutes. Then put these in a blender with 3 pieces of garlice clove. Liquify in the blender. Pour into a large bowl. Add 1 cup of chopped cilantro, 2 cup of choppped onions and 1 tbsp of salt and mix well. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour prior to eating to let the spices blend well.
Cherish - sorry about the arguing. Maybe you can have make up sex.
Lasann- We might of got to go out in the boat, but you got sex. I'm jealous. LOL!
P.S. My trainee already quit. Seriously.
Good luck training your replacement.
We got some R&R this weekend as well. I was going to ask for the receipe for the salsa, but it looks like you posted it already.
Have a great Monday!
I go to the farmers market downtown all the time; I prefer to give my money to those nice families! Did you hear anything about the arts festival?
Gareth - yes they can fool you and be mean.
PPP - what do you think of the Hills? Welcome back.
