Wednesday RamblingsWe have an interview at 9:00 am Central today at work. Hope they hire her and she starts right away. Then I can start my new job quicker.

We are going to Branson, MO June 15-17. Anyone live in the area or have visited? Any must see we need to do while we are there?
My allergies are killing me. I'm about to lose my voice. Good reason not to talk today. LOL!
Well, it is hump day. We are almost over the hump of the work week. So, happy hump day!
Does it seem like there hasn't been alot of bloggers around this week or is it just me?

Last time I was in Branson which was quite a few yrs ago. It was I don't know not that exciting as it used to be. Very commercialized now. but that is just my opinion.

Have fun in Branson, we went to Medieval Times up by Baltimore over the weekend and were also the red and yellow people. What a fun place.

Don't waste your time at the Stone Hill Winery. It's basically a store. The tour shows literally a few barrels and how they bottle. That's it. And of course, the requisite video. The wines aren't even very good, IMHO.
We did the Dixie Stampede. If Medieval Times is your kind of thing, DS is pretty good.
Silver Dollar city was pretty cool. I'd go again if in the area.

I forgot to add. If you plan on drinking during the day, buy your own & drink at the hotel pool. There are not many places to get a drink during the day in Branson. Seriously.

Well, I guess the winery IS one of the few places to get a drink in the afternoon!
I have no idea about the hotel...we stayed at a small "resort" (not fancy, just some decent cabins on the lake and a pool).
You won't have a BAD time at the Dixie Stampede, but if MT wasn't so much your thing, I wouldn't go out of your way to do the DS.
We were there for a family reunion. My dad's brother & all his kids live in or around Branson. It's actually a beautiful area, so I was pleasantly surprised by that.
