The WeekendWell, we had a great weekend. Friday night the OH (other half's) dad ended up coming by. We went and ate at Rockfish. I just love that place. I had the baked stuff shrimp after we all 3 shared a Mexican Shrimp Martini for an appetizer. It was splendous. On Saturday, the OH had to work to make up from an ice day last week. I went out shopping all day. I didn't accomplish much, but didn't have much to accomplish. The stores were so busy that it did take longer than anticipated. I met my mom for lunch too, which was nice. I dropped the dog off to be groomed, so I'll get his pic taken with Santa soon and post it. LOL! Anyway, Saturday night the OH's dad came back over. Crazy, hun? Just one of those weekends. We went to eat again. Our favorite Italian restaurant in Garland opened a new location in Mesquite which we went too. It was wonderful. (if you don't see repititious here yet all we did all weekend was go out to eat. LOL!) Finally we got up on Sunday and let the OH do his final Christmas shopping other than for me. I did some looking around for mine to help him though. I'm getting a new digital camera. Yeah! Well while finishing up shopping we ran into my mom and step dad. So we all went to go eat lunch. We came home and started cleaning. The OH got a call that his grandpa was admitted to the hospital. He was fine and they were keep him for observation. So we left and went to go visit him. Got home and started getting ready for Sunday night. We went to a wonderful Christmas party. The food was excellent and there was a wonderful 10 piece band that played all kinds of music. I danced away until 10:30 last night and definitely got my buzz on. So, this morning being at work an extra hour early for a meeting really sucked! Can't wait for lunch. I'm exhaused. I did find out I will be off work the Friday before and Monday after Christmas. Yeah! I feel bad though. I got a v/m from my friend Ames yesterday on the way to the hospital that she left Saturday night and I never knew she left. I felt bad not getting to call her back. I also didn't get to talk to my other g.f. Leslie all weekend. I know she had a busy schedule also. We all have such hectic separate lifestyles sometimes I feel like I'm being a bad friend. On another note, hope Momma is feeling better. So, how was your weekend?
