Hello, fellow bloggers and non bloggers. Well, I went to Ames last night. She hosted a Party Lite party. FYI, if anyone is interested in any items to purchase or to host a party she is more than glad to give you the information, so please let me know. Anyway, all I bought was a cute sconce light that holds a tea light candle. I think it will be very pretty. We had a good time there. Got home and watched Nip Tuck. I just love that show. I'm so addicted. Anyway, sitting here at work right now wondering when in the heck we are going to get sent home. It is 28 degrees right now in Garland, Texas where I work. For the ones of you who aren't familiar with Texas let me explain. We get very little snow here and if it does snow it isn't what people up North would consider snowing. Now out towards West Texas there is more snow than in North or East Texas. I'm in between North and East. Anyway, There is supose to be freezing rain and sleet. Well out around Ft Worth, which is about 1 hour west of us it is covered in snow and ice. Here there is nothing. A little sleet off and on and a little snow off and on. Some businesses are closing before the roads get bad with ice. Ours isn't one of them yet. I keep hoping. I really don't want to see it ice, because people act like idiots and can't drive. I would love to see some snow. Although if it does ice. No workie. Yeah! *jumps up and down* I'm piteful, I know. It could be worse tommorrow. So this is my update for today. All about weather. How fun is this? *giggles*
*shivers from being cold*
P.S. You don't understand. I wore shorts all day on Saturday. Only in Texas can you wear shorts one day and a scarf the next. You can never put up your winter or summer clothes.
And Calgary has the the same weather with tshirts in the morning and snow jackets in the afternoon.
I went with DD's class on a field trip last week. Some were wearing scarves and winter coats because it was the coldest day of the year so far. One boy was wearing his winter jacket - with shorts!
