 Movie Reviews
I watched several movies this weekend when my cousin and niece came over and thought I'd give you my reviews:

1. Brokeback Mountain - I watched this alone. I really enjoyed it, but didn't think it had a big plot like alot of love stories. It really showed how times have changed. What is acceptable somewhat by society today wasn't acceptable back then. There was beautiful scenary and Heath and Jake were both hotties!

2. Prime - This is hiliarious. It is a good chick flick. It is a romantic comedy about a woman going through a divorce and seeking a psychologist for help. She meets an younger man which the psychologist encourages her to "do". Well come to find out it was the pyschologist's son.

3. Good Friends - This is another romantic comedy. It is the basic high school geek that is stuck in the "friends zone" with the hot chic. He comes home 10 years later and he a hot stud. Everything he does to impress her he screws up. In the end, she loved him for who he was the whole time.

Well, this is my movie review from the weekend.

Have you seen anything good lately?

I liked Just like Heaven and Just Friends... That's my chick flick recommendation.

The weekend before last I seen American Pie Band Camp. That was some funny shit!

Three movies that I will never see, especially Fudgepack Mountain.

John Wayne wouldn't be smoochin on no other cowboy's, that's for damn sure Pilgrim!

Flounder, you are so homophobic. LOL! I didn't think my other half would watch it with me either, so I watched it alone.

I'm going to add you to my blog roll :)

My recent rentals:
Must Love Dogs.
I love John Cusack, but wow was this just an "eh" movie.

Man on Fire
Wow. Awesome movie. Prepare to be depressed, but entertained. And how I love me some Dakota Fanning. That girl is amazing.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith
It was pretty good. Laughed quite a bit. Good action.

Gareth, you can add me.

Kim - I have seen all three. I really liked Must Love Dogs. Man of Fire was awesome. I was a little disappoint on Mr and Mrs Smith. I didn't know what to expect. I just rented it because of their affair and the tabloids. LOL!

we were talking about brokeback mountain this weekend and some of the alternate names that just couldn't make the cut:

backdoor mountain
backrub mountain
bareback mountain
broke his back mountain

these all would have been absolutely acceptable names, however, the academy was frowning on several of them - they did finally go with broke back and the rest is history!

ames

Ames - I figured brokeback would get some debates in here. I have been getting those jokes about this movie, but just deleting them. I have good friends in the gay community and after seeing how these jokes about the movie affected them, I just don't even go there. Until something affects you personally you don't think about it affecting others. I know I have made different race jokes or etc, but like I said until it affects you personally you don't think about it you are just making a joke. I know you are just telling a funny and not being mean, cuz I know you.

lets watch some movies baby

I watched See Jane Date the other night -- I read the book and really liked the movie.

Watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith for the gazillion time the other night.

That "Prime" got bad reviews but the concept sounded pretty good.

I like lots of movies.

Nice pics! :)

Thank you I can not wait to see them when they come out on video. I hate going to the movies.

Terrific pics sonya. Is that a panther in the 2nd picture?

I'm now looking forward to seeing Brokeback Mountain after hearing people's good reviews. I'll have to wait for it to come out on DVD though.

Those little penguins are so adorable!!!

I like penguins.
